Hi my name is Shera Houston. I'm originally from St. Petersburg Florida, but I consider myself a Charlotte native since I have been here 21 years! I am currently a TK teacher and I love working with children and people in general! My hobbies are anything outdoors. I have witnessed first hand the growth Charlotte has gone through and I would have to say I know S. Charlotte like the back of my hand! I have been all over and remember when the "not" so new malls/shopping centers like Carolina Place and Arboretum were just cow pasture! I previously worked for my father, owner of "Associated Design" as an assistant to his Architectural firm who did many homes in Piper Glenn and Ballantyne (which used to be pasture too by the way!). It is amazing to see how much Charlotte has blossomed and it just keeps keeps growing!!
